True love is never lost. I am sure of that although I am just thirty minus.
True love doesn’t need to wait.
It’s there or it is not.
What is more… is the «waiting» the most important quality of love so they named a song after it?
Recently I met THE guy. Whom i ve known for three months or sth. And I am not sure if I am in love with him. Because the previous times I were in love it felt different.
I have never experienced sth like that so I really cannot tell what it is, in one word.
But. I can definitely describe it.
This guy makes me laugh all the time. He says «well done» really often. He listens to a bunch of things that I tell him every day. He really does! Also, he drives me crazy (of course) and I do too… but the second we talk to each other it’s all gone. No kind of punishment or holding a grudge. No accusation and playing hard to get. We just work it out. Together.
I feel like he supports me 24/7. I feel safe and wanted. And this environment makes me want to become a better person. It makes me thrive. I have time for this now.
In the past, I was so consumed by inappopiate behaviours that didn’t really leave me time for anything else other than trying to make things right.
So I think that «true love» should and must be something like that. Not just something that waits or is everlasting.
True love should mean that we love the other person in a good way for us and the person. Not just for us…
So I wish you all a true love as described. Not just one that waits.
